The Dodge auto brand turns 100 years old this year. To this special event Dodge introduced the most powerful vehicle of all time, Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. We decided to make a look back on Dodge’s past history and its most impressive Dodge performance models.
1968 Dart GTS 440. It was small and mighty car with 375 horsepower and acceleration 0-60mph time just 5 sec.
1969 Coronet Super Bee Six Pack. With an engine output of 390-hp and 490 lb.-ft. of torque, it was one of the greatest Dodge cars.
1970 Charger R/T Hemi. This monster was developing 425-hp and 490 lb.-ft. of torque. It was a cool muscle car with the unique styling.
1970 Challenger T/A. With its modified suspension and great disc brake, it wasn’t the fastest Challenger model, but the most race-ready.
1986 Shelby Omni GLH-S. It was first really hot Dodge hatchback.
1992 Viper RT/10. The most iconic and at the same time the most dangerous car. It was providing 400-hp and 465 lb.-ft.
2004 Neon SRT-4. Not the mightiest, but it was a leader in economy cars.
2006 Charger SRT-8. This model was equipped with a 6.1-liter Hemi V-8 with 425-hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. It was available in retro colors.
2013 SRT Viper. It was fitted out with fire-breathing 8.4-liter V-10 engine with 640-hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. The most powerful car of that time.
2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat. You all know about this beast! An astonishing 707-horsepower Hemi V-8. The most extreme Dodge muscle car ever made!
