Germany is famous for its beer, sausages, medieval architecture, Tyrolean songs, as well as prudence and diligence inhabitants. However, the hallmark of this country could be due to the high quality of cars. In this review we will focus on 5 iconic vehicles in the history of the German automobile industry.
The first place takes Porsche 911. Porsche 911 model is manufactured from the same year as the company exists – since 1963.
Second place takes Volkswagen Beetle. In total there were produced over 21.5 million of these cars, thus “Beetle” is considered to be the most massive in the history of the car.
Third place takes Audi R8. All-wheel drive mid-engine sports car Audi R8 has been put on the market in 2007 and first introduced back in 2006 on what was then the Paris Motor Show.
Fourth place takes Audi Quattro. This well-known road and rally car was produced in Germany until 1991.
Fifth place takes BMW 2002. BMW Neue Klasse this is one of the most famous families of large class sedans of the company.
